PURPOSE
Basketball is the sport most Black girls identify with in the UK? Yet, despite 60% aspiring to become pro athletes, they remain one of the least active groups..
OFF THE COURT
In the summer of 2025 we hosted OFF THE COURT - a new two-day creative programme designed to empower young Black girls through basketball, creativity and community.
Created by Black Girl Fest Studios and powered by Jordan Brand, this programme supported 40 young Black girls aged 15-18 to play basketball, make new friends and feel inspired.
