BGF Beauty Series

In partnership with five brands within Estée Lauder Companies: Clinique, Aveda, Estée Lauder, Bobbi Brown & MAC

In August, we launched a five-part beauty video series on our Instagram with five brands within Estée Lauder Companies: Clinique, Aveda, Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown and MAC. Each episode explores a different part of beauty and our personal experiences as black women i.e. a conversation with MAC on using bold colours on big lips that many black women have been bullied for having in the past.

During the series, we had conversations with experts from each brand, as well as lipstick blogger Gena-mour Barrett, journalist and founder of For Dark Skin Girls, Victoria Sanusi, and both Nicole and Paula’s mothers. The series explored an array of experiences and also hosted some intergenerational conversations around hair, confidence, skin care and more.

This project is a paid partnership between Black Girl Festival, Clinique, Aveda, Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown and MAC
