We’re expanding our partnership with eBay! 🎉

Our longstanding partnership with eBay and our commitment to be a force for change for Black women entrepreneurs.

We are so pleased to be extending our partnership with eBay UK.  Our mission to empower, encourage and elevate the entrepreneurial spirit of ambitious Black women has been further elevated through our BGF x eBay Seller Academy programmes and the ongoing support from eBay UK.

In late 2021 we first announced our partnership with eBay to launch the first BGF x eBay Seller Academy. A FREE 12-week programme designed for Black women to learn how to successfully grow an online business using eBay as a marketplace.

With hands-on training, guidance from eBay experts + financial support, the programme is for ambitious small business owners who want to sell effectively and accelerate their businesses.

Our first seller academy saw 30 sellers receive financial support and hands-on training delivered by eBay experts to help them grow their businesses. These sellers graduated from the programme in January 2022, armed with the knowledge and expansive networks to continue growing their businesses.

We’ve since then ran two more programmes and have been gradually increasing the number of cohort members, in our efforts to increase access to this incredible opportunity and the growth that we know will follow.

Some of our BGF x eBay Seller Academy alumni have gone on to achieve incredible success and recognition in their respective industries such as Toyosi Olowo who was recently recognised in the Natwest x The Telegraph Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs to watch 2022. BLACK IN BLOOM 〰️

Over the past year, we’ve been working tirelessly to create a NEW platform on eBay. Black in Bloom is a new destination to search, support and buy from Black businesses now exclusively live for the very first time on eBay UK.

This work is part of a long-standing commitment from eBay to be a force for change and we’re so excited to be working with them to achieve this. Together we want to help Black women entrepreneurs turn their side hustles into fully-fledged businesses!
