I am not a Black woman, can I attend the festival?

Yes. Black Girl Festival is designed for and by Black Womxn and Black Non-Conforming people.

Although we welcome people of all races, ethnicities and cultural backgrounds Black Girl Festival is a space specifically for these groups.

The intended audience for our workshops, talks and discussions remains at the core of the festival. If you are attending and you are not a Black Womxn, please be mindful of how much space you take up

How do I buy a ticket ?

How do I host a workshop or give a talk at Black Girl Festival?

This is by application only. We do not accept email applications. Our call for speakers and workshop facilitators isn’t open yet. Sign up to our mailing list  and follow us on Twitter and Instagram to find out more.

I want to be a market vendor. How do I apply?

Applications to become a market vendor for Black Girl Festival 2019 are now open. Applicants will only be considered via application form only.

Please carefully read the Market Vendor Info Pack before applying. Note: By completing this form you confirm that you have read the accompanying Market Vendor Info Pack and agree to the fees.

Deadline: 11pm on 25th June 2019 and successful applicants will be contacted by early July.

Can I bring small children?

Yes, we are a family friendly festival. Our programming will have sessions suitable for children aged 10+. We advise that all children below the age of 16 are accompanied by an adult.
